Thea Taylor – Growing up in Waterloo, Ontario, Thea has been immersed in embroidery since the age of 10. Specializing in intricate hand embroidery, she creates one-of-a-kind pieces using natural fibers, wool felt, and cotton embroidery thread, and often embellishes her work with goldwork and vintage beads. While largely self-taught, Thea has expanded her skills through formal studies in goldwork at the Royal School of Needlework and various craft techniques at Haystack Mountain School and the Ottawa School of Art.
