Take a Seat Notecards
Featuring selections from Jennie Traill Schaeffer’s Take a Seat series. The chairs are placed in landscapes, some layered over image transfers of tea packages – in oil, watercolor and acrylic. The chairs invite you to “Take a Seat,” suggesting you stay, enjoy, and be comforted.
The note cards are printed with pigment-based inks on canvas paper stock, (100% alpha-cellulose paper, acid and lignin free). Each card is individually printed and packaged with an envelope in a clear bag. Because of the quality of the ink and the paper, these works will last (behind glass and framed out of direct light) for over 50 years, making them excellent small prints. Card size is 4.5″ x 6.25″.
