Peters Valley, an NJN State of the Arts special,
focuses on the life of the Peters Valley Craft
Education Center, a unique community of
artisans, and the history and surrounding environ-
ment of the Delaware Water Gap’s National
Recreation Area in which they reside. From mid-
fall to early spring, the peaceful village in rural
northwest New Jersey is home to a handful of
artists, all working to perfect their skills.
Artists gather to sell the fruits of the past year
in a crafts fair setting, featuring wandering
musicians, homemade food and demonstrations.
